I'm Bringing Sexy Backless

most of you might hate me for saying this, but im not a big fan of justin timberlakes new cd. as far as im concerned his greatest hit since "sexy back" is the snl veganville medley, which is seriously my favorite skit since i stopped recording the show so thats by no means an insult. dont get me wrong, i still love this man hes one of the only true triple threats of our generation. but, in honor of singles past, i decided i was going to bring sexy backless. i dont usually go for cut-outs because i dont understand how to still wear a bra with everything exposed, but always find myself drawn to the alluring nature of baring some bare skin. so, when i found this top at nordstrom rack over easter weekend and noticed the perfect placement of fabric, i knew i could finally pull off this pesky trend ive tried so hard to tackle in the past. the silky animal print harem pants were the perfect bottoms to pair it with adding that element of wild every wardrobe should play with. and, although i always figured that when you wear loose fit below its smart to wear something tight on top or vise versa, the open, freeing, flirty nature of this look lessened my belief of that now common misconception. this ensemble epitomizes strength and power hence the debut of my new favorite little lightening bolt necklace, which always makes me feel like a force of nature ever so slightly. plus, i am a huge harry potter fan, but that may be besides the point. i was also excited to add a hint of mint via this long vegan leather color-blocked clutch. and, needless to say, the shoes are a triple threat in their own right. designer, comfortable, and they go with everything. never underestimate the temptation of michael kors you guys. and never say never when it comes to trends you think you cant try. as i sit here watching my sex and the city dvds i cant help but remember "every day is a fashion show and the world is your runway. so always dress your best and walk with confidence."
