Pleated To Meet You

this olive + oak pleated skirt was a steal for $15 at the la sample sales and ive been trying to find a way to style it for spring for weeks. nothing in my closet seemed to compliment it just right until i came across this super soft grey loose fitted t on a recent mini shopping spree. the leather pocket and black trimmed neckline dressed up the simplicity a little bit and i knew it was the one. the suede pointed toe enzo angiolini heels were another score on sale at macys (only $28, originally $110). the pop of blue makes the outfit suitable for spring time and the zipper detail has me skipping along the sidewalk with zip-a-dee-doo-dah zip-a-dee-aye my oh my what a wonderful day stuck in my head. some simple long-layered silver/gold jewelry was the perfect touch to compliment the romantic feminine feel.
