Better Off Blue

jeans, my loves eyes, blueberries (especially cold and covered in dark chocolate), the sky, the ocean, vincent van goghs starry night, iphone text messaging, forget me nots, my butterfly tattoo. some of the most enjoyable, beautiful, inspiring things are solely represented by this color. not to mention one of my favorite sarah bareilles songs called bluebird. theres just a certain depth, an instant intrigue associated with blue that resonates with me so its no wonder i had no trouble adding these pieces to my closet. the oversized knit is perfect for spring with its pastel shade and thin stripes especially when paired with this high waisted subtly checkered somewhat pencil skirt. could you just die over that black color blocking at the hips? the metallic-like shine adds a simple sophistication (or is that the pearls?) and the pockets are everything. slip on a pair of simple nude wedges and were "ready to fly you and i, here we go."
