march is here, the month of my boyfriends birthday and the long awaited spring season begins. my craving for chirping birds, warm breezes, flirty dresses, and periwinkle pastels has arrived. and i finally get to enjoy it and the beautiful warm weather after being stuck indoors working all weekend. i bought this beautiful little number at francescas (my go to store) for a wedding and the only picture i ever got wearing it was published in black and white. serious bummer. so, i was ever so excited to show it off to you all today. im obsessed with the wavy romantic hem and pleated sleeves. the scoop neck and cinched waist is so simply flattering. i paired the dress with my long, white and grey striped cardigan. its as perfect as spring outerwear gets with it's sloping pockets, open knitted fabric and light color scheme (another francescas find, im so sorry i couldnt find anything similar). my discounted BCBG heels (another marshalls steal) were the perfect touch with the chunky metallic gold accents amidst nude/peachy straps. the necklace matched perfectly (again, francescas and, again, im so sorry for the internets continuous lack of similar), im all for layered strings of various sizes and shapes. hope everyone is experiencing a little sunshine and happiness wherever they are.
what spring color are you craving to put on?
