Cut To The Coral

in honor of this post's title, i'm going to make this short and sweet. leopard is one of my favorite prints, it takes any outfit over the edge, into the wild side. it's sexy, fierce and full of this unexpectedness that i'm consistently drawn to. maybe because i don't consider myself any of those things. you guys know i'm all about sheer and two-toned or color-blocked pieces so this tank truly has it all it's one of my go-to grabs (found it on a buy one get one free rack, talk about score). the skirt's similar texture, its sheer and simplistic elements, compliment the top perfectly. and spring is all about that pop of color, coral being a mix between pink and tangerine orange, much more bold than blush. finally jewelry makes an appearance! recently i've been big on gold and there's just something about triangles, right? obsessed. and, of course, saving the best for last. the shoes. my michael's. enough said.

what's your favorite leopard piece you own? what leopard piece is on your wish list?

top-other ($30 she inside)
skirt ($14 forever 21)
heels-other ($30 white house black market)
earrings-other ($4 forever 21)

p.s. thanks again and again to my wonderful sister emily of emily magers photography. today's shoot would be nothing without her vision (and angle expertise) and willingness to hike in the heat. she is a superstar sister and my best friend.

p.s.s. would love your support of this look on lucky magazine's website. vote here

    1. super sad, like the saddest thing! i definitely recommend starting with a tank like the one i recommend above via she inside or, if you want to start small consider the $20 pair of pointed toe flats (complete with a studded heel) via target i just bought here:

    1. thanks so much lily! it means so much to hear from you, im glad that even though you dont like leopard you can still appreciate this look. i think the color blocking on the tank helps and this print is actually a lot smaller and darker making it more subtle so that could be why you approve! keep in touch xo
